Job Description
PeaceHealth Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to work with our General Surgery team at the PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington. The clinician will work in the hospital first assisting, rounding, and discharging, as well as performing outpatient clinic work. Candidates with experience in surgery—including breast surgery, hospital rounding, and post-operative wound care—are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist, round, and discharge patients in the hospital setting.
- Perform outpatient clinic duties.
- Manage postoperative wound care, including trauma/ACS rounding.
- Provide triage support for clinic calls.
- Participate in surgical procedures with access to the Da Vinci Xi robot.
Qualifications
- Active Physician Assistant certification.
- Experience in general surgery, breast surgery, or related surgical fields.
- Proficiency in hospital rounding and postoperative wound management.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
