Physician Assistant, Gastroenterology

Overview

Park Nicollet Clinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology practice. You will have an impact on the care that our patients receive every day as part of a well established and expanding team.

Location

Gastroenterology care is provided at the Digestive and Endoscopy Center on the Methodist Hospital campus in St. Louis Park, and at the Park Nicollet Burnsville Clinic or Park Nicollet Maple Grove Clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide care at the Digestive and Endoscopy Center, including outpatient clinic and endoscopic services for GI tract and liver disorders.
• Evaluate, assess, and treat clinical problems and health care needs; instruct patients on treatment and planning under the supervision of a Gastroenterologist.
• See a variety of patients seeking care with GI and liver disorders; participate in weekend rounding at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park as needed.
• Collaborate with the gastroenterology team to maintain high standards of patient care and practice quality.

Qualifications

• Current certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• General gastroenterology experience preferred.
