Role Description The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care in an outpatient cardiology setting, including conducting focused histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising cardiologist. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing follow-up visits for chronic cardiovascular conditions, triaging and evaluating acute cardiac concerns, performing medication reconciliation, and delivering patient education on disease management, lifestyle modification, and procedural care. The role also involves documenting encounters in the electronic health record, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and supporting clinic workflows to maintain high-quality, efficient patient services. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Pierce and Stuart, FL.

Qualifications
- Current Physician Assistant license (or eligibility) in the state of Florida and graduation from an accredited PA program; national certification (NCCPA) preferred.
- Clinical experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or related fields, with the ability to manage patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and heart failure.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and development of evidence-based treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, clinical documentation, and basic office-based procedures relevant to cardiovascular care.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and staff, and support a respectful, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage a full patient schedule, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinic.
- Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to clinical guidelines, and participation in quality improvement or practice development initiatives.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe.
