Physician Assistant - Dr. Constantine Demetracopoulos

Position Overview

We are looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) to serve as a primary assistant to the doctor, providing clinical evaluation, counseling, and first assist in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluation of patients in the office.
• Counsel patients and families regarding surgical procedures and address pre‑ and post‑operative questions.
• Assist in the operating room as a surgical first assist.
• Collaborate with office staff, other PAs, patients, and families to deliver high quality care.
• Maintain effective communication with outpatient staff and inpatient hospital teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA program.
• Current NYS PA license.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• NCCPA board certification.
• Current Infection Control Certification and completion of a child abuse recognition course.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Preferred: Surgical experience or training.

Compensation

The base pay scale ranges from $156,576.13 to $173,563.63, with additional benefits consistent with the role. Salary is based on experience, education, and other factors.

Employment Type

Regular full-time.

Work Shift

Day shift; no weekend shifts or overnight call.
