Physician Assistant - Critical Care - Full-Time Flex 7AM-7:30PM and 7PM-7:30AM (Medicine)

Job Description

This is a critical care Physician's Assistant position. Candidates should have invasive procedural skills and experience with both invasive and non‑invasive respiratory support.

Under the general or direct supervision of the Physician‑In‑Charge or designee, the PA will perform the following duties and be further guided by the specific Delineation of Privileges.

Qualifications

Work requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and clinical aspects of patient care at a level normally acquired through completion of an approved Physician's Assistant Program culminating in a Bachelor's degree of Science and three to five years of previous work‑related experience. Licensure is required as a Physician's Assistant by the State of New Jersey. The role requires analytical ability to resolve highly complex problems requiring application of scientific or technical principles, theories, and concepts, and in‑depth experience‑based knowledge. The PA must have the ability to develop and write instructional/training materials, prepare detailed assessments of patient referrals, conduct individual or group therapy sessions, or perform other duties requiring comparable communication skill. Direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients is required.
