Physician Assistant Clinical Specialist - Northern & Southern California

As a leading medical device manufacturer, this full‑time role involves observing surgeries, educating clinical and sales teams on surgical products, and providing procedural knowledge and product suggestions across a range of specialties including Urology, ENT, Plastics, Emergency Medicine, ED, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics. The specialist must reside in the assigned region and be a Certified Physician Assistant (PA‑C) with a minimum of seven years' operating room experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe surgical procedures in the operating room and provide educational support to sales teams on the product line.
- Lead professional education programs for healthcare providers and internal staff.
- Record and submit activity and lead‑generation data to the client CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing on product, procedure, and resource expansion.
- Educate the field sales organization as needed.
- Travel at least 50% of the time to attend surgical procedures.
- Represent the client company at major conferences across the U.S.
- Complete required administrative duties accurately and promptly.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA‑C) (required).
- Minimum of seven years of PA‑C operating‑room experience within Urology, ENT, Plastics, ED, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics.
- Military experience will be considered.
Experience and Skills
- Deep knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to the position.
- Ability to work in an operating‑room environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with technical acumen.
- Self‑motivated with excellent relationship‑building ability.
- Customer focus internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Experience working in a matrixed team structure.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a background investigation.
- Travel as needed; willingness to relocate to the posted territory.
- High attention to detail.
Salary and Benefits: Base salary range $200,000 – $210,000, with a 10% quarterly bonus for achieving key performance indicators. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
