What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient rounding and postoperative management for cardiovascular surgical patients
• Assist in surgical procedures such as CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, and AAA repairs
• Perform surgical consults and contribute to emergency room coverage
• Participate in outpatient clinics approximately one day per week
• Collaborate with a team of cardiovascular surgeons and advanced practice providers
• Ensure patient safety and deliver quality surgical care in a fast-paced clinical setting

What You Need
Required:

• Active state license in Louisiana
• Certification in BLS/ACLS
• Prior experience in inpatient and surgical settings (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred:

• Ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
