Job Details

• Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under physician supervision
• Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures
• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers on preventative health, treatment options, and community resources
• Perform preventive health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and care
• Communicate and coordinate care between case team members, patients, and families
• Conduct emergency procedures within scope of training
• Actively participate in current and future department initiatives
• Provide quality and compassionate care within ethical and religious directives
• Comply with medical records documentation standards
• Respond to consultation and evaluation requests from other service lines in a timely manner
• Must hold active DEA credentials and Physician Assistant licensure from the NCCPA prior to hire date
• BLS or ACLS certification required
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Monday through Friday schedule

Compensation

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
