Job Overview

We offer full‑time PA positions delivering critical medical care to refugee and migrant populations worldwide. The role involves direct patient care, medical histories, emergency treatment, and limited minor surgical procedures.

Schedule & Compensation

36‑48 hour work week. Day and night shifts available. Pay $70 per hour plus housing and weekly stipend for travelers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and complete medical histories.
• Perform medical follow‑up, handle walk‑ins, and manage sick calls.
• Administer emergency and first‑aid treatment within scope of SOP.
• Carry out limited minor surgical procedures such as suturing uncomplicated lacerations or incision‑and‑drainage.
• Review and reevaluate patients needing ongoing medical or pharmaceutical care.
• Execute orders authorized by the supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Any state license accepted; must be current and member of the state medical board for PAs. Temporary license not accepted.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine.
• Licensed and certified by NCCPA.
• Bachelor's degree from a PA program accredited by ARC‑PA, or bachelor’s degree in a health‑related science coupled with an accredited PA program.
• Alternately, accredited PA program plus progressively responsible health‑care experience such as medical corpsman, LPN, medical technologist, or technician.
• Must meet state continuing‑education requirements.
• Comfortable working with all age groups 0‑99.
• Must obtain BLS certification through AHA.
• No disqualifying criminal convictions (except minor traffic violations).
• Tier 4 security clearance required to start.
