What We Offer

Full‑time schedule: Monday – Friday

No weekend or call coverage

Collaborative team environment with surgeons and APPs

Supporting continuity of care within the operating room, including a post‑operative follow‑up in ambulatory clinic.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on surgical inpatients
• Evaluating and managing new surgical consults
• Assisting in the operating room, including scrubbing into surgical cases
• Supporting continuity of care within the outpatient setting

Qualities and Requirements

Education: Master’s Degree Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant program required.

Experience: PA experience preferred, but not required.

Licensure/Certification: Current PA license in the appropriate state required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registration required.

Additional skills: Ability to complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing; strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills; collaborative ability within a multidisciplinary team.
