Overview

Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is recruiting a Physician Assistant to join our collaborative, multi‑disciplinary Urology team. The PA will work alongside Urologists and advanced practice providers to deliver patient care across General Urology, Urologic Oncology, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, and Men's Sexual Health.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations on new and established patients; provide autonomous, ongoing care across General Urology, Urologic Oncology, FMPRS, and Men's Sexual Health; order and interpret diagnostic studies; screen patients for escalated care or hospital admission; maintain accurate EPIC documentation.
  • Assist surgeons in the operating room for urologic procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic‑assisted cases; conduct pre‑operative evaluations, patient counseling, and surgical preparation; provide post‑operative follow‑up care in the outpatient clinic setting.
  • Conduct virtual/telehealth visits for appropriate patient populations, including follow‑up care, prescription management, and symptom triage; actively participate in the virtual health platform to expand access and continuity of care.
  • Perform office‑based procedures: PTNS, Testopel pellet insertion, Foley/catheter changes, prostate biopsies, flexible cystoscopy; fit and maintain pessaries for female pelvic floor conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant Studies
  • Certification through the NCCPA
  • Current Physician Assistant licensure by the Texas State Medical Board

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency

Benefits

Compensation range: $113,000 - $173,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus, and may increase based on productivity and performance.
