Physician Assistant / APC - Interventional Pain Management - Kelsey Seybold - Main Campus

Kelsey-Seybold's Pain Management Center is actively recruiting a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to assist the clinic with the treatment of patients who suffer with pain. This is a position in a clinical setting, which would require one to be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting the pain management physicians in clinic to achieve optimal efficiency in the practice of pain management
• Holding clinic and seeing patients for follow up visits, assisting these patients with the medical management of their disease
• Managing narcotics, narcotic agreements, opiate management administrative work and pre and post-operative procedural care
• Working with primary care practitioners and other specialties with the management of patients who suffer from pain, providing a team approach that facilitates and enhances the quality of care for such patients

Required Qualifications:

• Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
• Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
