Physician - Anesthesiology - Pain Medicine

Marshfield Medical Center - Minocqua Center is seeking a BC/BE Pain Physician to join an established practice in Minocqua, Wisconsin. This role features a primary procedural assignment within the pain medicine clinic, collaborating with a team-based service of Advanced Practice Clinicians, nurses, and a pain psychologist. Physicians will enjoy a balanced schedule with no call coverage and opportunities to engage in medical education and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical management of pain patients with complex medical histories via a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach
• Perform a wide range of pain medicine procedures including a breadth of spinal injections and radiofrequency ablation
• Participate in spinal cord stimulation (trial and implant), intrathecal pump placement, peripheral nerve stimulation, and other advanced modalities
• Involve in medical education and research

Requirements

• BC/BE Pain Physician
• Board-certified in interventional pain management, pain management, and rehabilitation, or anesthesiology and pain management
• Desire to be a part of a team-based service
• Interest in clinical management of pain patients with complex medical histories via a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach
• Ability to perform a wide range of pain medicine procedures including a breadth of spinal injections, and radiofrequency ablation
