Physician Anesthesiologist

Location: Moultrie, GA | Schedule: Full-time, on-site; 7 on/7 off rotation (subject to mutual agreement with anesthesiology team)

Overview

A community hospital system in south Georgia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist/Critical Care physician to join its Anesthesia team. The hospital offers a full complement of surgical and critical care services, and this role is central to delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia and critical care coverage alongside a collaborative team of physicians, CRNAs, and Anesthesiologist Assistants.

What you'll do

• Provide anesthesiology and critical care coverage as part of a team with two anesthesiologists scheduled per shift
• Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs)
• Take call during the week on rotation, including critical care call and backup coverage for anesthesiologists
• Partner with pulmonology and critical care physicians for daily rounds in a 10-bed open ICU (consult only)
• Work across 7 OR suites and 2 endoscopy suites
• Opportunity to precept medical students and residents
• Utilize modern anesthesia technology, including new anesthesia machines with integrated ultrasound, a Glideslope for emergency airways, and a Belmont rapid infuser

Required qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
• Critical Care experience
