Physician Advisor - SC Licensed

To support efficient resource management, the full-time remote Physician Advisor - SC Licensed will assess medical necessity, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and optimize care management protocols while ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. Key responsibilities Communicates with hospital staff to promote evidence-based care and documentation best practices Performs utilization management reviews, including pre-admission and post-service evaluations Acts as a medical resource for quality improvement and educates providers on medical policies and coding issues Required qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) with an active, unrestricted medical license 8 years of broad clinical experience, including knowledge of utilization and medical review Current board certification in a recognized specialty Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic projects effectively
