Physician Advisor MD/DO

To support client facilities in navigating compliant revenue processes, the part-time salaried Physician Advisor MD/DO will review payor peer-to-peer cases, evaluate documentation for authorization requests, and engage with medical directors from the payor side in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Review cases for authorization denials, assessing documentation and clinical evaluations Engage with attending physicians and utilization review teams to discuss case determinations Provide written analyses and perform case reviews across multiple specialties Required qualifications Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical licensure Minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency completion Strong clinical knowledge across multiple clinical areas Proficiency in basic computer skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
