Addiction Psychiatrist – Healthy Minds Chestnut Ridge

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry are seeking an Addiction Psychiatrist to serve at Healthy Minds Chestnut Ridge in Morgantown, WV.

Location: 930 Chestnut Ridge Road, Morgantown, West Virginia.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical licensure.
  • Completed psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship.
  • Board certified or eligible in addiction psychiatry (must be met at time of appointment).

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the area of addiction psychiatry, providing excellent patient care.
  • Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in our addiction medicine and addiction psychiatry fellowships.
  • Participate in the Comprehensive Opioid Addiction Treatment (COAT) program and related initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the WVU Medicine Center for Hope and Healing and the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute’s Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry Addiction team for clinical care, education, and scholarship.
