Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)PRNThe Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - PRN provides services under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and maintain performance in a home health setting. nn Carry out therapy plans developed by the Physical Therapistn Assist with treatments to improve mobility, strength, and functionn Monitor patient progress and report changes to PT and care teamn Educate patients and families on exercises and care plansn Support use of equipment (wheelchairs, braces, etc.)n Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentationn Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team as needednn Qualificationsnn Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant programn Active PTA license per state requirementsn Strong communication and observation skillsn Experience working with geriatric patients preferredn Ability to work independently and as part of a teamn Valid driver's license and reliable transportationnn Work Environmentnn Home health / community-based settingn Travel required between patient homesn Exposure to clinical environments and conditions
