Physical Therapy Assistant Per Diem

MTN. VIEW SURGERY CENTER OF SCOTTSDALE IS SEEKING A MOTIVATED PRE/POST OP REGISTERED NURSE TO JOIN OUR TEAM. 

JOB SUMMARY:

The RN Pre/Post Op provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre/Post Op provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre/Post Op supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Skills

n
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
n
• Current Arizona Nursing License
n
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
n
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Pre/Post Op or Critical Care. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
n
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
n
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.
n
• Excellent teaching skills, communication and organizational skills.
n
• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior.
n
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees.
n
• Strong customer service skills.
n
• Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change.
n
• Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology.
n

Required Experience

Qualifications:
