George Washington University Hospital seeks a Physical Therapist for our Med-Surg units. This on-site role evaluates and treats adult inpatients with diverse medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced academic medical center. The PT will perform comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
Responsibilities include interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, and patient/family education. The PT will document care in the EMR, support teaching and research activities, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while serving a diverse urban population.
