nCurrent Hawaii Physical Therapy License is required. 1 year outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to start your orthopedic PT career here! We support continuing education in order to provide our patients with the best care possible.
nResponsibilities
nPerform initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and return to work or sport assessments
nDevise and execute detailed, effective treatment and care programs for patients
nCommunicate and coordinate with patients’ physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
nEffectively communicate and coordinate with patients and caregiver to ensure that their problems, concerns, and goals are addressed
nRecord daily SOAP and regular Progress notes on EMR
nAssist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
nComply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
nComplete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years
nQualifications
nCurrent Hawaii state physical therapy license required
nCurrent CPR Certification required
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
nThe ability to create a positive, nurturing environment
nFamiliarity with documenting on EMR
nThe ability to work well and make decisions in a high-stress environment
