Physical Therapist – Per Diem

Role Overview:

This position involves organizing and delivering physical therapy programs to aid patient rehabilitation, restore function, and promote independence. The therapist develops individualized treatment plans, conducts assessments, and utilizes evidence-based techniques to achieve optimal outcomes. They supervise support staff, document care accurately, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, compassionate service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, set measurable goals, and implement tailored therapy interventions.
• Design and fit adaptive devices, instruct clients in mobility skills, and evaluate progress.
• Consult with team members to determine appropriate treatment regimens.
• Supervise supportive personnel and contribute to staff training.
• Maintain thorough documentation, adhere to policies, and participate in quality improvement.
• Ensure patient safety, demonstrate professionalism, and uphold confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Current Physical Therapy MA Licensure, strong communication, leadership, and safety awareness. Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting and prolonged standing. Emphasizes compassionate care, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork.
