Physical Therapy Position
Conducts physical therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of physical therapy, physician’s referral and physical therapy plan of care. Primary position responsibilities include evaluating infants, toddlers and children; developing appropriate treatment plans; providing developmentally appropriate, therapeutic interventions; completing thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress reports; maintaining acceptable levels of clinical productivity; submitting billing accordingly; counseling and educating patient, family and/or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress; communicating with other essential medical and community/school personnel; and maintaining personal knowledge and skill levels and contributing to enhancing that of colleagues.
Qualifications: Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field. Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy is also considered. Minimum years of experience required is 1-3 years experience providing therapy within a pediatric setting working with infants, toddlers and children. Will consider new graduate. Required: Current New Jersey State License. Pediatric experience is required.
