Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift:
- Shift details: 30 minutes each - Flexible (can be evening or weekends)
- Hours per week: 6 hours per week
- Contract length: October 26, 2026 to June 25, 2027
- Deliver in-person PT services, focusing on supporting and empowering a student who has been in the home and has been unable to attend school in-person.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plan.
Licenses & Certifications
- Must hold an active New York Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience in school settings or working with children is preferred.
- Effective communication abilities for working with students, educators, and families.
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
- Ability to interact with staff and the public is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work as a team member at all times
- Ability to perform all duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
