Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments
- Provide one-on-one care during 60-minute visits in your own treatment room
- Deliver hands-on therapy - manual techniques and therapeutic exercises - to improve function and reduce pain
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
- Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive, coordinated care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and full HIPAA compliance
- Help build a positive, supportive team culture to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current Florida PT license in good standing
- Strong manual therapy skills and experience with therapeutic exercise programs
- A patient-centered approach, backed by excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mindset - you thrive working alongside a team, not just alone
