Physical Therapist – Edgewater, NJ
Location: Edgewater, NJ and surrounding areas
Type: Full-Time, W-2
Hours: 30–40 hours/week
Pay: $50–$60/hour + Benefits
Key Requirements:
- Active NJ Physical Therapist license or valid compact privilege
- DPT or equivalent entry-level PT degree
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Experience providing physical therapy independently in community-based settings
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Comfortable treating adults and older adults
- Experience with home/community-based, assisted living, or group-home settings is relevant
- Ability to work with DDD/developmental disability, Medicare Part B, commercial insurance, and private-pay patients
Role Focus:
- One-on-one outpatient PT services in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes
- Evaluations, treatment planning, mobility/balance/strength training, transfers and patient safety
- Caseload management and clinical documentation
- Coordination with families, physicians, PTAs, and other therapy team members
Important: This is community-based outpatient therapy, not a traditional home health position.
