Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: St. Joes - Tampa , FL 33618

Schedule: Full-time, Mon - Fri, 40 hrs/wk

Compensation: $26.00 - $35.00/hour (Starting hourly rate calculated by experience)

Incentives: $10,000 bonus and indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 2 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports med, POETS, and dry needling. Experienced outpatient physical therapist assistants and newly licensed physical therapist assistants, APPLY! Mentoring available!

Responsibilities

  Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• n

  Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

• n

  Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

n
• n

  College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

  n
n
• n

  Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

  n
n
• n

  Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

  n
n
• n

  CPR certification

  n
n
