Minimum Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Applied Science in PT
- One (1) year of PTA experience or new grad with clinical experience in an outpatient setting
- Licensed by the Arkansas State Medical Board as a PTA, or eligible to apply and obtain a license within 30-days of hire
- Ability to read, write, and communicate to clinic staff, physicians, and the public
- Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in treatment of neurologic disorders, LSVT or PWR certified
- Two (2) years of PTA experience
Additional Information:
Key Responsibilities
- Works closely with the supervising physical therapist to implement therapeutic plans and provides daily mobility and balance treatments. Prepares and operates physical therapy equipment to include sanitizing, sterilizing and/or disinfecting equipment.
- Documents daily treatments and observations in patient's progress notes and prepares monthly patient performance summary as related to program goals and objectives and submits to physical therapist.
This is a PRN position.
