What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, confidence, and independence
- Work with residents toward goals that are meaningful to their everyday lives
- Carry out individualized treatment plans based on each resident's needs and abilities
- Encourage residents to stay active and involved in the things that matter to them
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
- Communicate resident progress, concerns, and changes in condition with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
- Be part of a positive, team-focused therapy environment
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
- A genuine interest in working with older adults
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
