Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist with treatment plans, guide patients through exercises, track progress, and help promote safe and effective recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out therapeutic exercises and interventions as outlined by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with mobility training, strengthening activities, and functional tasks.
- Document patient performance and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising PT.
- Help maintain patient safety and encourage participation during treatment sessions.
- Support the PT in developing and adjusting therapy plans based on patient response.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Experience in rehabilitation or therapy settings preferred.
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work well with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
