AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician to join their team in a unique role, balancing 50% inpatient rehabilitation medicine and 50% outpatient interventional pain management. - Practice setting involves 50% inpatient rehabilitation medicine and 50% outpatient interventional pain management.
- Inpatient rehabilitation includes medical management for stroke, orthopedic, neurologic, and debility cases.
- Outpatient interventional pain medicine involves evaluating and managing acute and chronic pain conditions.
- The facility is AdventHealth Redmond, a 230-bed hospital in Northwest Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical management for inpatient rehabilitation patients, including stroke, orthopedic, neurologic, and debility cases.
- Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams.
- Conduct patient evaluations, daily rounding, and discharge planning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional improvement and safe transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement.
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Perform interventional pain procedures.
- Provide comprehensive pain management utilizing multimodal and evidence-based approaches.
- Coordinate care with referring providers, physical therapy, and other specialists.

Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- BC or BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty.
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine preferred (or equivalent procedural experience).
- Eligible for or active Georgia medical license.
- DEA license (or ability to obtain).
- Experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient interventional pain settings (preferred).
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.
