Benefis Health System, one of Montana's largest and premier health systems, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Physiatrist to join its dynamic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team. This role primarily focuses on inpatient care with opportunities for outpatient services, offering flexibility to tailor your career interests. Practice Info
- Primarily an inpatient role with occasional outpatient services, with flexibility based on interests
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is a 20-bed acute rehab unit
- Common diagnoses include: Stroke, TBI, SCI, orthopedic injuries, LE amputation, cardiac/pulmonary DEB, Guillain-Barre, and complex medical conditions
- Average census: 12 patients
- Daily admissions/discharges: 2-3 each (Monday-Friday)
- Robust multidisciplinary rehab staffing, rehab APP doing consults, 16 therapists, and 24/7 nursing (including critical care trained RN) with Interdisciplinary Team Conferences held three times per week across different shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care
- Provide occasional outpatient services
- Perform nerve conduction studies
Compensation

Shift & Schedule

- Flexible clinic hours with a dedicated outpatient clinical staff for patient follow-up and care coordination (if outpatient is desired)
