Physiatrist Medical Director

Benefis, one of Montana's largest health systems, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Physiatrist for a dynamic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team. Practice Info

• Primarily an inpatient role with occasional outpatient services, with flexibility based on interests
• 20-bed acute rehab unit with an average census of 12 patients
• Common diagnoses include Stroke, TBI, SCI, orthopedic injuries, LE amputation, cardiac/pulmonary DEB, Guillain-Barre, and complex medical conditions
• Medical coverage provided Monday-Sunday by dedicated NP hospitalists (alternating every 7 days)
• Robust multidisciplinary rehab staffing, including a rehab APP doing consults, 16 therapists, and 24/7 nursing (including critical care trained RN)
• Outpatient PM&R Clinic offers flexible clinic hours with a dedicated outpatient clinical staff for patient follow-up and care coordination

Responsibilities

• Cover 2-3 daily admissions/discharges (Monday-Friday)
• Perform nerve conduction studies for patients with EMG interest

Compensation

• Nationally competitive compensation structures with guaranteed salaries + productivity and performance bonuses
