We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our creative team. You will work on portrait, wedding, event, graduation, and lifestyle photography using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications .
This position requires someone who can efficiently cull, organize, edit, retouch, and prepare professional-quality images while maintaining our editing style and meeting delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities
Lightroom Culling & Image Selection
- Import and organize RAW images in Adobe Lightroom Classic
- Perform Lightroom culling by reviewing all images
- Reject:
- Blurred or out-of-focus images
- Eye-closed photos
- Duplicate or unnecessary shots
- Test shots and accidental captures
- Rate and flag the best images using Lightroom's star ratings and color labels
- Organize collections for editing and delivery
Photo Editing
- Color correction & color grading
- Exposure, white balance, highlights, shadows, and contrast adjustments
- Crop images only where needed to improve composition
- Lens correction and perspective correction
- Noise reduction and sharpening
- Batch editing while maintaining consistency
Advanced Photoshop Editing
- Professional skin smoothing while maintaining a natural look
- Blemish removal
- Object removal
- Background removal or replacement
- Photo masking
- Adobe Layers
- Adobe Overlays
- AI-powered editing tools
- Creative enhancements and composites when required
Album Design
- Design professional wedding and event albums
- Arrange images for storytelling
- Prepare print-ready album layouts
- Follow company album design standards
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with:
- Lightroom Culling
- Adobe Layers
- Photo Masking
- Adobe Overlays
- AI photo editing tools
- Background removal/replacement
- Album Design
- High attention to detail
- Good color sense and composition skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
Technical Requirements
- High-speed internet connection (required for transferring large RAW image files)
- Desktop PC or Laptop with a dedicated high-performance GPU capable of handling Lightroom, Photoshop, AI tools, and large RAW files smoothly
- Available during Morning IST hours (PST Evening)
- Quiet and professional work environment
