Phone Canvasser - Ohio

To support grassroots mobilization efforts, the part-time Phone Canvasser - Ohio will engage with OCA members and the public by phone to discuss campaigns and encourage participation in advocacy efforts, while working remotely and committing to a minimum of 15 hours per week. Key responsibilities Communicate effectively by phone with OCA members and the public about campaigns and opportunities for change Meet campaign-specific performance standards regarding outreach, conversations, contributions, and political actions Attend virtual meetings, submit reports, and participate in training and organizational events Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience in phone-banking or political organizing preferred Basic computer skills; familiarity with Spitfire, VAN, Google Workspace, or Basecamp is a plus Interest in environmental issues, politics, or non-profit work Ability to pass an ISP test for WebRTC protocol compatibility
