Phlebotomy Operations Coordinator

Phlebotomy CoordinatorAssists the Laboratory Manager with the operation of the phlebotomy department by performing educational and phlebotomy procedures in conjunction with associated clerical and quality assurance functions. Acts as a technical resource and educational lead to ensure an efficient operation. Works with lab management to perform various administrative tasks that ensure section/shift operates in an efficient, effective manner.

This position requires flexibility of hours.Education:Associates Degree required.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience/Training: Minimum of two (2) years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting in a leadership role required. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred.Licenses/Certifications: Required: Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California.Skills:Exemplary communication and organizational. Must have the ability to calmly and equitably moderate disagreements.

Maintain a positive approach to problem solving and be flexible in meeting new challenges. Ability to multitask. Strong computer skills.

Must have a strong background in education.Location: 100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $74,183.00 - $113,132.00. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
