Phlebotomy Coordinator
Assists the Laboratory Manager with the operation of the phlebotomy department by performing educational and phlebotomy procedures in conjunction with associated clerical and quality assurance functions. Acts as a technical resource and educational lead to ensure an efficient operation. Works with lab management to perform various administrative tasks that ensure section/shift operates in an efficient effective manner. This position requires flexibility of hours.
Education:
- Associates Degree required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience/Training:
- Minimum of two (2) years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting in a leadership role required.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Required: Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California.
Skills:
- Exemplary communication and organizational.
- Must have the ability to calmly and equitably moderate disagreements.
- Maintain a positive approach to problem solving and be flexible in meeting new challenges.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must have a strong background in education.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is - . Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials extra shift incentives bonuses etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
