Phlebotomist II

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Houstan, TX.

Schedule: 8:30am-5pm

Location: 6500 North Fwy #110, Houston, TX 77076

Contract Length: 3 months with possibility of extension or conversion into a full-time permanent role

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly

Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
  • Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner
  • Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources

Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
