Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 11:00am–8:00pm; Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm; Rotating Saturdays, 9:00am–4:00pm

As a Phlebotomist, you play an essential role in delivering quality patient care through accurate specimen collection and processing. Your expertise and compassionate approach help ensure a positive patient experience while supporting critical diagnostic testing and healthcare decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen processing following established procedures

  • Accurately verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling

  • Prepare and process clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing

  • Provide exceptional patient care while explaining collection procedures with professionalism and confidence

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and confidentiality standards

  • Support operations at multiple Patient Service Center and In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

  • Strong specimen collection and processing skills with the ability to work independently

  • Patient Service Center experience preferred

  • Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment highly preferred

  • Proficiency with keyboarding and data entry

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating Saturdays and overtime when required

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities in a high-volume environment

  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
