Job Description:
Patient Services Representative II (PSR II)
Collect blood samples (phlebotomy) including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following standard procedures
- Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient service environment
- Explain procedures to patients and provide a reassuring experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and confidentiality standards
- Handle high-volume workload with accuracy and attention to detail
- Work independently and across multiple locations as needed
- Provide strong customer service and effective communication with patients and staff
- Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification/training preferred
- Experience: 3+ years phlebotomy experience preferred, including patient service center exposure
