- Tuesday-Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) performs blood specimen collection, processes samples for laboratory testing, and delivers excellent patient service while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens from adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
- Process and prepare specimens for lab testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
- Provide professional customer service and work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required); 1+ year preferred.
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required only in CA, NV, and WA).
- Basic keyboard/data entry skills.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call if needed.
