The PSR I performs blood collection and specimen processing while providing excellent patient care and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process clinical/forensic specimens.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient service.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Support weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of experience; 1+ year preferred.
- Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills.
- Data entry/keyboard experience required.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
