Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist Floater to support our client's healthcare facility in Kansas City MO.

Schedule:

Hours can be as early as 7:30am and as late as 5:30pm

Location:

Kansas City MO 64151

Contract Length:

2-3 months+

Pay Range:

$25 - $28 *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:
  • Performed venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, adult, and geriatric blood collections while ensuring patient safety and specimen quality.
  • Verified patient identification, collected, labeled, processed, and packaged clinical and forensic specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
  • Maintained accurate patient documentation, ensured HIPAA compliance, and upheld quality assurance and safety standards throughout the specimen collection process.
  • Delivered exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, obtaining required signatures, and creating a professional and comfortable patient experience.
  • Traveled between Patient Service Centers (PSCs), physician offices, and other assigned locations while independently managing workload in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school Diploma
  • Certification(s): Phlebotomy certification preferred
  • Years of experience: minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience required
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Venipuncture & Specimen Collection, Specimen Processing & Labeling, Patient Care & Customer Service
