Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III to support our client's healthcare facility in Fairhope, AL .This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends 8:30 PM–7:00 AM. (3rd shift)

Work Location: Fairhope, AL 36532

Training Location: Mobile, AL

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 13+ weeks

Pay Range: $22 to $25/hour*

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients of all ages, primarily geriatric patients.
• Complete approximately 30 or more blood draws per day.
• Assist with assigned phlebotomy duties and ensure accurate specimen collection and handling.
• Troubleshoot collection-related issues and recommend workflow improvements.
• Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and quality while working in a busy hospital setting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support daily operations.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 3+ years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Work Environment: Hospital setting; team-based environment.
