Job Description:
Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Type: 3-6 Months Contract (Extension Possible)
Location: East Brunswick NJ
Shift: Monday - Friday, (8 hours shift)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform blood collection (venipuncture & capillary) safely and accurately
  • Prepare and label specimens for lab testing
  • Maintain proper documentation and records
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment
  • Provide excellent patient care and build trust with patients
  • Follow all compliance, safety, and confidentiality guidelines
Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
  • Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
