Phlebotomist Opportunity

Are you passionate about patient care and helping people live healthier lives? We are building a pipeline of talented Phlebotomists to support growing patient service centers, physician offices, and healthcare partner locations throughout the area. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional patient experiences while ensuring accurate specimen collection, processing, and testing support. Location: Greater Chicago Area Pay Rate: $20-25/hr Employment Type: Contingent

Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist, you are often the first point of contact for patients during the testing process. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to quality help ensure accurate diagnostic testing and positive patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages
  • Accurately identify, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity testing, and other specialized testing as needed
  • Enter patient demographic and insurance information accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain specimen integrity and comply with all quality and safety standards
  • Provide compassionate, professional customer service to patients and clients
  • Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed
  • Travel to additional patient service centers or client locations when required

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Phlebotomy certification, completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program, or relevant phlebotomy experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to support business needs
  • Ability to pass a color vision assessment
  • At least one year of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients preferred
  • Experience in a physician office, outpatient laboratory, hospital, or patient service center environment preferred
  • Multisite or float experience is a plus
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
