Role Overview
Apply advanced physics expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems through rigorous research, scientific explanation, and expert feedback. This remote contract opportunity centers on translating real-world knowledge of matter, energy, physical theory, and scientific methods into high-quality training and evaluation materials. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Research fundamental and applied physics topics, including current developments in the field.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret findings, and support the development of sound physical theories.
- Create clear, detailed explanations of complex scientific concepts for AI instruction and evaluation.
- Develop and curate physics educational content for AI training modules.
- Review AI-generated content for conceptual accuracy, clarity, and scientific rigor.
- Work remotely with project stakeholders to refine deliverables and align work with project objectives.
- Provide written and verbal feedback on research outcomes and physics-related questions during an iterative AI training process.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrated record of rigorous scientific research and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong theoretical and experimental physics foundation, with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex ideas.
- Excellent critical-thinking, problem-solving, research, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in science education and outreach.
- Experience developing or teaching physics at the university or advanced undergraduate level is preferred.
- Comfort contributing to collaborative, multidisciplinary research in a remote setting.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $70 to $90 per hour.
