Acting as a subject matter expert on denial research methods, the full-time remote Claims Specialist Team Lead will train and mentor staff while overseeing the accuracy of billing processes and ensuring compliance with third-party billing requirements during night and weekend shifts. Key responsibilities Trains new employees and provides ongoing support and mentorship to promote a positive work environment Reviews variances and write-offs for accuracy, preparing necessary reports and identifying potential financial risks Monitors staff performance and conducts monthly quality assessments to ensure compliance with billing standards Required qualifications High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of insurance billing experience with specialized knowledge in Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Commercial billing Understanding of revenue cycle functions within a pharmacy practice or equivalent setting Desired certification as a Pharmacy Technician Proficiency in MS Office Products and familiarity with AS400, Frameworks, or QS1 systems
