Location: Redlands, California 92374
Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 12:00 PM-9:00 PM
• Friday: 10:30 AM-7:30 PM
  Interview: In-person interview required
  Work Arrangement: Onsite

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• California Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Highly physically demanding position.
• Safety-sensitive role.
• In-person interview required.
• Worker will be cross-trained on Operations Assistant/Materials Coordinator responsibilities and assist as needed.
• Position is onsite and involves working around moving machinery, including conveyor belts.

Job Requirements
Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National certification alone is not accepted in place of the required California license.
• Verifiable high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience coordinating activities in an administrative support function.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience .
• High-volume call center experience required; healthcare, social services, or similar service environments preferred.
• Advanced computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
• Ability to work the required Monday-Friday schedule.
• Ability to successfully complete an in-person interview.
• Must be able to work in a highly physically demanding environment.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift .
• Must repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Must occasionally lift 30-50 lbs. unassisted during a shift.
• Ability to reach and grasp objects at various levels.
• Ability to use a keyboard and operate departmental machinery.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and conveyor belts.
• Must comply with required protective clothing and equipment.

Additional Information
Pharmacy Technician Job Duties

• Work under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist to select, pick, and package medications and supplies for shipment to patients.
• Prepare prescription medications and supplies accurately for fulfillment and shipment.
• Perform required record-keeping functions.
• Assist with inventory control activities as needed.
• Support Operations Assistant/Materials Coordinator functions following cross-training.
• Handle incoming calls from members, providers, and other callers as assigned.
• Provide professional customer service and phone assistance.
• Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation.
• Process information according to established criteria and procedures.
• Transfer clinical questions and judgment calls to the Pharmacist.
• Operate departmental machinery and computer systems as required.
