Job Summary
Care First Pharmacy is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician / Front Counter Clerk to join our team!
You will assist with prescription intake and data entry under pharmacist supervision, process payments, receive inventory, and provide friendly service at the front counter. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced community pharmacy.
Applicants must be fluent in both English and Spanish to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming prescriptions from patients and doctors' offices and enter information into the pharmacy system under pharmacist supervision.
  
• Refer prescription discrepancies to the pharmacist for review.
  
• Assist with proper medication storage and inventory organization.
  
• Receive deliveries, verify quantities against invoices, and record incoming inventory.
  
• Maintain accurate patient profiles, inventory logs, and other pharmacy records.
  
• Assist customers with prescription pickups, front-counter purchases, and payments.
  
• Answer telephone calls and handle customer inquiries in English and Spanish.
  
• Refer medication questions and clinical concerns to the pharmacist.
  
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a clean, organized work environment.
  
• Stock and organize inventory, including over-the-counter (OTC) products, medications, and all other pharmacy merchandise, under pharmacist supervision as applicable
  

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  
  
• PrimeRx pharmacy software experience strongly preferred.
  
  
• Previous pharmacy technician or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work well with a team.
  
• Basic computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills.
  
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology preferred.
  
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
